DC4 provided a complete MEP engineering design and construction administration package for an AAFES Express gas station and retail facility (with a Hunt Bros. pizza and Subway vendor inside) at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. The design for this facility included DX RTUs and Split-Systems, building pressure management systems, lighting, controls, power, kitchen hoods/exhaust, high-wind restraint and coastal area restrictions, fuel-system controls and site lighting.
DC4 performed full MEP design and construction administration services in conjunction with Koegel Associates for a 265,000 sq.ft. retail facility consisting of a large big-box retail area, parking lot, strip mall, food court, warehouse and office/administration areas. The design for this facility was built around LEED certification. Retail/Vendor spaces in the mall and food court included Starbucks, Arby’s, GNC, Boston Market, Charley’s, Gamestop, a Pharmacy, a Dental Clinic, a Beauty/Hair Salon, a Nail and Spa Treatment space, and other various retailers.
DC4 performed full MEP design and construction administration services in conjunction with Koegel Associates to repair/remediate multiple existing HVAC issues that were causing discomfort to employees and patrons. Services included revising HVAC designs for multiple food-service vendors and a large food-court seating area.
DC4 performed full MEP design and construction administration services in conjunction with Koegel Associates for a 150,000 sq.ft. retail facility consisting of a large big-box retail area, strip mall, food court, warehouse and office/administration areas. In addition, numerous “shell” buildings (6 total) were prepared for future tenants. The design for this facility was built around LEED certification.

Retail/Vendor spaces in the mall and food court included Starbucks, Q’Doba, GNC, Freshens, Slim Chickens, Charley’s, Arby’s, Gamestop, a Pharmacy, a Dental Clinic, Nail/Spa/Beauty space, a Barber Shop, and other various retailers.
DC4 performed design and construction administration services in conjunction with Koegel Associates for the replacement of a 100-ton VAV air handler and associated ductwork, terminal units and control systems. The installation also included numerous energy saving strategies including demand control ventilation, variable capacity fans/compressors, temperature and pressure resets and economizers.
DC4 performed design and construction administration services in conjunction with Koegel Associates for the replacement of three water-cooled chillers, three condenser water pumps and VFDs, and associated piping and control systems.
