Atos Charlotte Data Center Upgrades
While at Koegel Associates, members of DC4 added a second electrical service to the data center to power the HVAC system. This was done to free up capacity on the original service in order to increase the UPS Systems capacity. The new service for the HVAC system is a 2N distribution system with redundant 2MW emergency generators. Also, all of the data floor CRAHs were replaced with new DX CRAC units in order to remove a single point of failure with the original chilled water piping loop.
